Masnah’s Wien 9/25 brings nine CryptoPunks (by Larva labs) onto a three story facade in Weissgasse, fusing graffiti’s history of inscription with the digital relics of blockchain culture. Over the past years, Masnah has left a constellation of Punk murals across the globe each wall a fragment in a larger puzzle of decentralized muralism.

The Vienna edition completes its role in this sequence as a gift from the local CryptoPunks community back to their own city and its people. Here, Vienna’s historic legacy of brick and wall is reimagined through pixels and code, where ownership becomes monument and public art becomes collective memory.

Masnah
Lorenzo Masnah (b. Bogotá, 1985) constructs cultural memory through a hybrid visual language combining painting, digital media, and collage. His work repurposes materials—both printed and pixel-based—into compositions that interrogate identity and history. Masnah’s studio practice integrates silkscreen, stencil, and plotter mark-making with hand-applied gestures, creating a tactile grammar shaped by both code and intuition.
