“in the thicket”
The mural addresses the interconnection between the climate crisis and social structures.
We are all caught in the thicket – a situation that is complex and difficult to navigate. The only way forward is together. Collaboration, equality, and shared responsibility are essential to finding solutions. The work aims to highlight that ecological and social issues are inseparably linked.
Linda Steiner was born in East Tyrol in 1993 and came to Vienna in 2012 intending to study arts. Since 2020, Steiner has been able to carry out her artistic work as a full-time artist. Due to her wide range of skills, she repeatedly receives larger commissions from well-known companies as well as solo exhibitions.
Besides her main focus of the introspective, the artist also deals with socio-political issues such as feminism, classism and racism in her work. Steiner's artistic work has an autodidactic approach and she strives to continually acquire new materials and techniques. The current focus is on oil painting, sculpture, mural painting, digital art and ceramics.
