Among the living roots
📍Zanaschkagasse 30, 1120 Wien
Paola Delfín’s mural explores the idea of reconciliation with our world and all forms of life that inhabit it. She believes humanity has often placed itself above other living beings, forgetting that all forms of life are equally important and interconnected, and that true harmony depends on this balance.
In this work, she portrays humans as part of the landscape—one element among many—rather than as separate observers looking down upon it. Through a blend of surreal and literal imagery, she hopes to inspire reflection on this interconnectedness, approaching the idea with love and compassion.

(Mexico City, Mexico)
Paola Delfín, born in Mexico City, discovered painting and drawing at an early age as a magical way to create her own worlds and narratives, always finding endless expressions of beauty in humanity. Growing up in a country where art and culture hold a fundamental role, she recognized the importance of engaging society in the artistic process and making art accessible to all. Public art became the perfect medium for this mission.
Her work delves into the many facets of human essence, inviting reflection on the profound connections between ourselves and the world around us—between soul and body, our roots, and the shared ties that unite us all.
