  • Calle Libre is a non-profit association that focuses on street art and other forms of art in public spaces. Through funding and the help of sponsors, we organize the Calle Libre Street Art Festival in Vienna every year. We also organize exhibitions, tours, workshops, artist talks, screen prints as well as bilateral collaborations.

  • The Calle Libre Festival in Vienna is open to people of all ages and backgorunds. No need to have any prior knowledge of street art to enjoy.

    Whether you’re a tourist visiting Vienna or a local resident, the festival offers an accessible program.

    All talks, guided tours and workshops are held in English.

  • The festival takes place in Vienna, Austria, but every edition is held in a different district.

    Calle Libre 2026 will be bringing color to the 19th district this year!

  • Yes! The purpose of Calle Libre is to make street art for everybody! All tours, workshops and events during the festival are free, but some require signing up if there are limited spaces available.

  • It's easy: Use our artist application form in the "Contact" tab. We welcome all applications and work with both smaller and established artists. As we receive applications on an ongoing basis, we are currently only able to contact successful applicants. Nevertheless, we will keep you in mind for future editions of the festival!

  • We would love for you to join us! We ourselves all came to Calle Libre through our enthusiasm for street art and are happy for any help! If you want to join us at the next festival, just drop us a line under "Say Hi" in the "Contact" tab.

  • The workshops we organize are led by different professionals. There are open to all levels and backgrrounds. A good thing to keep in mind is that they often have limited capacity and require signing up.

  • The tours during the festival are free and you don’t need to sign up. The only thing requiered is showing up at the meeting point. :)
