Wiener hiphop ball
On March 14th, the beautiful Palais Niederösterreich hosted the Wiener Hip Hop Ball, a space where tradition met street art culture. From live performances to art and shared moments, we all came together in a celebration of creativity and community.
It was a night full of dance, good energy and memories that will stay with us for a long time!
As a part of the live program, Big J took the stage and performed his song “Graffiti”. Afterwards, he received the Chain of Glory, in recognition of his life’s work as the driving force behind Calle Libre and his contribution to the street art scene in Vienna.
Throughout the night, we helped bring the street art culture to the ball with a curated exhibition featuring works by artists from all over the world, that have joined us in the past during our festival. Coins brought his markers and got to the canvas, which showcased a mesmerizing live painting during the night. The said painting was one of the main prices included via the tombola. Vistors had the change to be part of the Wiener Hip Hop Ball tag wall - leaving their marks.
