How does WWWalls work?

NFTs and blockchain technology have now made their way into the art world. WWWalls uses this emerging technology and brings the culture of street art into the digital world. In cooperation with Calle Libre and the world's most talented street artists, WWWalls captures unique artworks and digitizes them. The pieces are then available for sale as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

A win-win situation for both artists and street art fans - WWWalls creates the possibility for street artists to be mentioned in a more remarkable and profitable way, while collectors get a unique and collectable piece. Of course, it is also possible for artists to participate anonymously.

In addition, WWWalls creates an augmented reality experience with the help of a so-called "Street Art Time Machine", which allows fans to see the developments on specific walls on a timeline.

Selected collections in several stages

The street art pieces, selected by curators of WWWalls, will be released in several collections, starting with the Genesis Collection. This contains a curated list of artworks from Vienna, the hometown of Calle Libre. Subsequently, WWWalls will publish further collections that focus on specific cities, countries, continents and artists. The Black Edition is particularly exciting, with pieces by anonymous artists from all over the world.

Prices vary from collection to collection, but start at around $300. As with traditional galleries, revenue is split 50% for the artists and 50% for the platform. In case of resale, WWWalls retains about 10% of the sale, which is shared fairly with the artists.
